Nexa3D NXD-200 Dental 3D Printer Features
Patented LSPc® Technology
The Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing (LSPc) technology is the heart of the Nexa3D NXD-200, enabling continuous, high-speed printing. By eliminating the typical "wait-and-peel" cycles of standard resin printers, you can produce parts up to 6.5x faster. This translates to significantly shorter design cycles and faster time-to-market for your products.
4K Monochrome LCD Light Engine
Equipped with a high-resolution 4K monochrome screen, this printer ensures every layer is cured with clinical precision. The 76.5 µm pixel pitch delivers intricate details and sharp edges that are essential for functional engineering components. This feature guarantees that your 3D-printed parts meet the rigorous aesthetic and dimensional standards of injection-molded items.
Generative 8.5L Build Volume
The Nexa3D NXD-200 offers a generous 10.8" x 6.1" x 7.8" (275 x 155 x 200 mm) work area, providing ample space for large-scale prototypes or high-volume batches. This capacity allows you to consolidate multiple small parts into a single print job, maximizing your machine's productivity. It is the ideal size for handling 85% of typical industrial production needs without the cost of a full-tower machine.
Everlast-2 Self-Lubricating Membrane
The specialized Everlast-2 membrane virtually eliminates the suction forces that often cause print failures in other resin systems. This durable interface lasts for over 50,000 layers, significantly reducing the frequency of consumable replacements. For the user, this means higher print success rates and a much lower total cost of operation.
Open-Material Platform
Unlike "closed" systems, the Nexa3D NXD-200 gives you the freedom to use high-performance resins from industry leaders like Henkel, BASF, and Keystone. This flexibility allows you to choose the exact mechanical properties you need, from high-temperature resistance to biocompatibility. You are never locked into a single supplier, ensuring your production stays agile and cost-effective.
Edge-to-Edge Print Uniformity
The advanced light matrix ensures that UV intensity is perfectly consistent across the entire build plate. Whether a part is placed in the center or at the very edge, it will exhibit the same accuracy and structural integrity. This uniformity is critical for nesting multiple parts together for high-throughput manufacturing runs.
NexaX Intelligence Software Integration
NexaX software streamlines the preparation process by automating support generation and part orientation with proprietary algorithms. Its "simple-to-use" interface reduces pre-processing time from hours to just a few minutes. This ensures that even users new to 3D printing can achieve professional-grade results on their first attempt.
RFID-Enabled xVat System
The intelligent xVat system uses RFID technology to track resin types and usage levels in real-time. This smart monitoring prevents errors like using the wrong material settings or running out of resin mid-print. It provides peace of mind for long-running jobs, ensuring your production schedule remains on track.
Rapid Z-Axis Motion
The high-speed Z-axis motor is designed to complement the ultrafast curing technology, moving the build plate with incredible agility. This minimizes the non-printing time between layers, further contributing to the record-breaking build speeds. The result is a machine that can produce complex geometries faster than almost any other printer in its class.
Isotropic Part Strength
Parts printed on the Nexa3D NXD-200 exhibit isotropic properties, meaning they have uniform strength in the X, Y, and Z dimensions. This is a massive advantage over FDM printing, where parts are often weak between layers. These "work-ready" parts are durable enough for real-world stress testing and end-use applications.
Modular Industrial Construction
Built with a rugged metal frame and high-quality industrial components, the Nexa3D NXD-200 is designed for 24/7 heavy-duty use. Its modular design allows for easy field servicing and future hardware upgrades, protecting your initial investment. This durability ensures the machine remains a reliable asset in a busy workshop or factory floor.
Integrated Color Touchscreen
The large, intuitive touchscreen interface provides total control over the printing process and real-time status updates. Users can easily manage files, calibrate the machine, and monitor progress without needing a dedicated PC tethered to the printer. This standalone capability simplifies the user experience and saves valuable workspace.
Multi-Wavelength UV LED Array
The printer utilizes a sophisticated LED array that provides concentrated, uniform UV light for consistent curing. This high-power light source is optimized for the LSPc process, ensuring that even the densest resins cure quickly and thoroughly. This contributes directly to the machine's ability to maintain high speeds without sacrificing part density.
Active Cooling and Thermal Management
To maintain precision during long, high-speed prints, the Nexa3D NXD-200 features an active thermal management system. By keeping the internal electronics and the light engine at an optimal temperature, the machine prevents heat-related dimensional inaccuracies. This ensures that the first part of the day looks exactly like the last part of the day.
Seamless Post-Processing Compatibility
The Nexa3D NXD-200 is part of a larger ecosystem, designed to work perfectly with the xWASH and xCURE automated stations. This compatibility means that the build plate can be moved directly from the printer to the wash station without manual handling of the parts. This creates a clean, efficient, and highly professional workflow that minimizes labor costs.
